1. General
By booking a service or purchasing a product from A1 Car Alarms & Audio Ltd, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These may be updated at any time without prior notice.

2. Bookings & Cancellations

  • All appointments are subject to availability.

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or changes.

  • Late cancellations may incur a fee.

3. Vehicle Condition

  • Vehicles must be reasonably clean and free of personal items before service.

  • A surcharge may apply for vehicles that require extra preparation or cleaning.

4. Valuables

  • Please remove all valuables from your vehicle before service.

  • A1 Car Alarms & Audio Ltd is not liable for any personal items lost or damaged.

5. Additional Work

  • Any work requested beyond the original quote will be charged separately.

  • We will always get your approval before proceeding with extra work.

6. Pricing

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Pricing may change without notice.

7. Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required once the service is complete.

  • We accept cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards.

8. Warranty

  • We offer a warranty on our installations (duration specified at the time of service).

  • Warranty covers workmanship, not misuse or third-party modifications.

9. Liability

  • We take every care while working on your vehicle, but we are not responsible for pre-existing issues or unrelated damage.

10. Consumer Guarantees Act

  • These terms do not override your rights under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • If there are any issues, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • We aim to resolve all concerns quickly and professionally.
